A UW Tacoma assistant professor shows her work at SUNY Binghamton this fall.
Yixuan Pan, an assistant professor of culture, arts and communication at the University of Washington Tacoma, opens her solo exhibition, “Ice Cold: Studies on Glass,” at the Elsie B. Rosefsky Memorial Art Gallery at Binghamton University (New York) on Oct. 1. Pan is known for creating digital mixed-media works that encompass installation and audio-based works. “How to Clean a (StayHome) Window—On Cleaning, self-caring, and being bored” turns the mundane act of cleaning windows into a shared ritual during quarantine, while Pan’s “Ice Cold music video” channels a playful K-pop sensibility. Her work will be on view through Nov. 5.
