Branches approved

Two University of Washington branch campuses took giant steps this fall as classes opened in temporary quarters and the UW Board of Regents recommended permanent sites.

Branches to open

The University of Washington branch campuses in Tacoma and the Bothell/Woodinville area were set to open their classroom doors.

Branch sites narrowed

The UW Board of Regents narrowed the possibilities to three each for campuses planned for the Tacoma and the Bothell/Woodinville areas.

Temporary branches

The Higher Education Coordinating Board approved proposed lease space for temporary facilities for University of Washington branch campuses

UW to branch out

Institutions in Tacoma and the Bothell-Woodinville will offer students places to complete their last two years of college and, in future years, an applied master's degree.
